Will This One Ever Get Off The Ground?

Boeing 747Big Imagination’s (Bigimagination.org) project to create an art car from a full sized 747 aircraft for this year’s Burning Man appears to have stalled.

After getting major buzz from web sites like Vice, Techcrunch and Cool Hunting,  posts to Big Imagination’s Facebook page seem to have dried up and Google search isn’t turning up much in the way of new information.

Last we heard, the group was still waiting on final Burning Man approval, even though they claimed to have 100+ volunteers working on the project.

Anybody got any updates on this?
