Ready to cut the windows? Don’t overlook this important tip

WINDOWUsually, the last step in building a hexayurt is cutting the opening for the door and the windows.

This simple, but critical tip, will make a huge difference when you are ready to move in.

Make sure you cut all your openings with a bevel, angled so that the door and window pieces will open from to the outside.

The bevel, when closed, will create a better barrier to dust infiltration.

Even more important, outward opening windows will push collected dust out and to the ground, rather than letting it fall inside your yurt when the window is opened.
