Hexayurt Materials
A basic Hexayurt consists of four components
| Panels | Most popular material is insulation board faced with reflective metallic coating |
| Floor/foundation | Most hexayurts use a tarp for a floor, but a more substantial floor can be constructed of wood |
| Anchors | Hexayurts are prone to wind forces and must be anchored to the ground with stakes, pegs or counterweights |
| Tape | Tape is used to make strong, flexible seams between the panels |
