Hexayurt Builder Makes His Own Tape. You Can Too!

We have been following with great interest, a discussion in the Google Hexayurt Group regarding a replacement for bifilament tape for construction.  We certainly understand the downsides of this tape, both the upfront cost and it’s lack of permanence .

But after reading what one builder is willing to go through in order to save money and create a more permanent bonding solution, we really have to question how he values his time.

In considering the process being used to keep from buying and periodically replacing the tape, we are pretty confident that this approach is unlikely to replace bifilament tape as the preferred method for hexayurt construction.
