Ball Bungees Belong In Your Burning Man Tool Kit

If you’re going to be erecting a hexayurt or some other sort of temporary shelter on the Playa, ball bungees can be like having a third hand.

Unlike tape (which can be rendered useless in a dusty environment) or rope, which requires two hands to tie or untie, a ball bungee can create a strong, semi-permanent attachment that can be removed with one hand.

These strong elastic bands with a hard plastic knob on one end can be used for sealing a door, attaching to a ground stake or securing a tarp. They’re inexpensive, repurposable and have a thousand uses.
