Why We Love This Community

Here is an exchange today posted in the Google hexayurt group.

It begins with a posting from someone who is new to the community and is working on a design similar to a hexayurt, but has met some challenges.

He opens himself up to the group for some suggestions, and within just a few hours receives some encouraging words and helpful advice from Vinay Gupta, the inventor of the hexayurt.

Reading this is definitely worth a minute of your time.

Well, you’re learning the value of triangles 😉

I’d start by putting in some triangles – those end pieces, for
example, could well become triangles. Think of a triangle 4′ wide and
8′ high – you can get two out of a 4×8 sheet.

It gets easier from there!
